Nurture and the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers have teamed up again, committing to offer the AAHID Nurture Fellowship for the next 5 years. Created 2 years ago, this Fellowship works to advance Healthcare Interior Design, and illustrates the strength of the relationship between Nurture and the AAHID.

Broadlane Pricing Extended
The Broadlane quotes #08Z01198 (Certified Nurture Dealer) and the general Broadlane quote # 06z00520 have been extended until September 30, 2010 and price list hold 168. The contract will be renegotiated with an award expected this summer. New pricing should be in place by October 1, 2010. Renovation In Louisiana Goes With Nurture
Baton Rouge, LA - Woman's Hospital, an existing 225 bed hospital specializing in the care of women and infants in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, began planning a replacement hospital in 2006. A temporary suspension in construction was announced in January 2009 to revise their financing and a new construction completion date of 2012 was set. During the hold on construction, Woman's Hospital Building Operations Department worked to move forward with several renovation projects at the current facility that would be most impactful for their patients. These areas included Labor and Delivery Waiting and Patient room sleeping.
The team of Jean Gayle (Nurture Area Healthcare Manager), Joe Landry (Account Manager, Frost-Barber), Angela Price (Nurture Independent Rep, Price Resources) and the local Steelcase Workplace Consultant Kathy Redmond presented Nurture Product solutions and test samples to Catherine Nipper, Interior Designer at Woman's Hospital. After a competitive evaluation of our solutions, Nurture was awarded the sale of Cura for their Labor and Delivery waiting room areas, and Sieste and Mitra sleep solutions for their patient rooms totaling almost $250,000.. These pieces will help set the standard for patient room sleep solutions for the new hospital facility. As an added benefit, Design Tex fabrics were selected for all the sleep solution surfaces based on their extreme performance and sustainable standards.
This win will be in addition to the successful $4 million award for Steelcase Answer in March 2008 for the administrative portion of the new hospital that also included an Applied Research Consulting engagement. The team continues to work with HKS Dallas and Woman's Hospital Building Operations on the new hospital furniture specifications and thanks to persistence, creativity, and flexibility, this project continues to be a major success!

We are excited to share the addition of Nurture seating products to the Steelcase GSA contract. The addition of the seating products completes the first phase of the transition of Softcare products to the Steelcase GSA contract.

The addition of the Nurture seating products to Steelcase GSA contract builds upon the Nurture product offering to Federal Government Healthcare customers. We want to leverage the sales opportunity and build upon the Nurture brand with this important customer group.
· Electronic Price Book: The Nurture GSA Price Book will be available for download from IN2 on Monday, March 15th.
· Nurture GSA Printed Price Books will be available from Ad Stock mid April.
· Dealers should begin specifying Nurture products using the Nurture GSA ECAT.
· Last order entry for seating products via the Softcare GSA contract is April 16th.
