Research Opens Door To Nurture Win
Portland, OR - When a Portland area health clinic set out to improve work-flow and rebrand with fresh environments, Gina Corwin and Shannon Ferrigno at SmithCFI and Jessica Beckwith (Nurture Independent Representative) led with Nurture research - presenting a recent consultation room application utilized with Kaiser Permanente, and the Mayo Clinic SIT study (Space and Interaction Trial) it's design was based on. The adaptability and flexibility of Opus modular casegoods resonated with the client, who cited the importance of the ability to reconfigure the setup in the future.
Waiting room insights provided an entrée to Neighbor seating with a blend of fun and contemporary DesignTex textiles -- proposed to make the waiting area vibrant and inviting atmosphere that respects the various needs of patients and family.
The facility's three floors are a combination of clinical and administrative spaces. While Nurture had the clinical areas covered, Steelcase provided the breadth of portfolio - including Post and Beam, Duo and Turnstone for the workstations, Jenny lounge and group work tables in alcoves - needed to fulfill the administrative areas.
