Sync Truck - Ergonomics Showcase

Kathleen Lapidus

Redding, CA - Scarbrough Office Design took advantage of a recent visit from the Nurture Sync Truck to host an ergonomics symposium.  The event was cross-marketed with Cresswell Physical Therapy & Hand Rehabilitation.  Cresswell's location positioned the truck between the two largest hospitals in the county --  both undergoing renovations.

Cresswell has seen an increase of nurses needing treatment, due to hospitals switching to EMR's and the new physical demands put on staff unaccustomed to working on computers. Ergonomics was center-stage in the presentations given by Kathleen Lapidus (Nurture Area Healthcare Manager) and Suzanne Cresswell (Cresswell Physical Therapist) who understood and showcased the ergonomic benefits of Sync™.  Also presented by Tim Scarbrough was an ergonomic seating display where participants experienced  the ergonomic benefits of Leap, Think and Amia seating.

The event attracted health & safety experts from State Fund, nurses, doctors as well as the A&D community.  Shasta Community Health Center has already ordered four Sync units.  Also, two large opportunities with Shasta Community Health Center and  Catholic Healthcare West - Mercy Redding have since been secured.
