AIA Chapter visits Synergy 4 Health Showroom
Milpitas,  CA - The One Workplace | Synergy 4 Health Showroom recently hosted the Santa Clara AIA Chapter Meeting for a evening of fun and a CEU accredited program on Environments for Cancer Care. The evening focused on the healing Synergy 4 Health Showroomsolutions that apply to all environments from medical offices to acute care facilities. Phyllis Goetz, VP A&D of Nurture, presented the environments for cancer care presentation. The showroom hosted over 90 people with 50 different architectural firms. People enjoyed being in the healthcare space while being educated on the cancer environments topic. The buzz of the evening had many attendees discussing their personal experiences with cancer treatment.


Nurture and Dealer team up to win BIG!
When the Heritage Dealer reached out to their sales representative, Vanessa Derks she recognized the need to get other Inc. team members involved for assistance with a major hospital proposal. The team worked with the customer, designer and dealer to address ideas, issues and concerns of the project.
Grand Rapids based trainers showed both the hospital and the dealer how our products work. Nurses and administrators spent a day in Grand Rapids providing insights into their critical clinical needs. This convinced the customer that both Nurture and Steelcase were good partners to have going forward. One phone call from the dealer sales rep to her Steelcase Dealer Sales Consultant got the ball rolling and the amount of knowledge and skill we were able to provide as a team put us in the enviable position we are in today.
The group was comprised of the John Horn, Nurture Area Manger, Jeff Fredrickson, Nurture GPO consultant, Mike Fitzpatrick, Steelcase Area Sales Manager, Pifer Office, the dealer, Joanne Norman, Coalesse rep and Randy Lundblad of the SRT group.



Low Volume Nurture Products to be Culled
Many low volume Nurture seating and casegoods products are scheduled to be culled May 17, 2009.
For a complete listing of affected products, see the Nurture Culling List on IN2 in the Transitional and Culling web area and the Healthcare web area.
In addition, dealers who specify these products will receive culling warning pop-up messages on Hedberg beginning with the March 16, 2009 electronic catalog release.
