Stewardship Campaign Update
The 2009-2010 stewardship campaign has begun - quiet but strong. To date, we have $153,554 in commitments for the next church year. We are about 41% towards meeting our current budget needs. Additionally, we have $5,677 in pledges to the Fleishman Reserve Fund for the coming year. We know that your financial commitments to the church are even more significant this year. The work of the church is only possible because of the way that each of you live your life - with hope, dedication and a generous spirit. Thank you! Stewardship volunteers are meeting with as many people as possible. On Sunday March 22nd and 29th the Board Chair-Elect, will offer short stewardship conversations after each of the services. If you have not yet pledged or are not able to meet with a volunteer one-on-one, we hope that you will plan to attend on 3/22 or 3/29.

If you are interested please contact Katie Norris, Intern Minister at 773-549-0260x29 to participate. Here are some other efforts that we are taking on to help respond to the current economy: 1. We are releasing the first edition of the 2U Member Businesses and Services Directory. The directory is meant to publicize the talents and services of our membership households. If you or a member of your household would like to be included in the directory please submit a form to Lisa Todd. A special thanks to Liz Krumwiede for the layout and editing of the directory. 2. We also compiled a booklet of classifieds that will be housed in the Palmer Room on Sundays. Post your resume. List your desire to share housing or rent a room. You will be responsible for updating your posting. 3. We want to use members for our cleaning and staffing of special events. If you are interested please contact Suzanne Larimer at 773-549-0260x10 or office_2U@att.net. There are specific physical requirements and time commitments that she will discuss with you.
