Meet our new board members!
STL is honoured to announce that we have two new board members! Allow us to introduce you to Jennifer Kirner (Senior Community Investment Manager for TELUS) and Steve MacKinnon (EVP, Major Account Delivery, Randstad Canada). Read on to get to know them a little better but also to see their answers to: "What has your computer done for you lately?"

Jennifer Kirner: is the Senior Community Investment Manager for TELUS, responsible for Community Investment and Employee Engagement initiatives in the GTA, Southwestern Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Prior to joining TELUS, Jennifer worked in the non-profit sector in the arts, social services and cultural sector.
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Music degree from Queen's University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, York University. Prior to joining the board of Sky's the Limit, Jennifer sat on boards with Arcady Baroque Ensemble in Brantford and the Amadeus Choir of Greater Toronto and Advisory Panels for Asians without Borders, Meal Exchange and Business for the Arts. Jennifer has been recognized with an Arbor Award from UofT for her voluntary contribution to the university as well as several awards for her contribution to York University.
What has your computer done for you lately? "My computer is my lifeline. It is my primary source for communication, entertainment, news, and business productivity. I would have a hard time living without it!"
 | Steve MacKinnon | Steve MacKinnon: As Randstad Canada's EVP, Major Account Delivery, Steve is accountable for overseeing the development for Randstad Canada's largest clients. In his current role he ensures that the country's centralized sales and delivery teams are providing excellent customer service for the Randstad's key customers. In addition Steve is also responsible for ensuring delivery components for Ranstad Canada's HR services team are also providing innovative and effective service for its customer base. After joining Randstad in 1996 Steve has held many positions within the company, starting as a Resource Manager and moving into sales where he developed and grew some of the companies largest customer relationships. In 2007 Steve moved to the role of Director, Channel Solutions to continue the development of Randstad key customer base and in 2008 moved into the role of VP sales for the Technology division of Randstad Canada prior to his current role.
In 1993 Steve graduated fromthe University of Western Ontario with a degree in Genetics and then received a diploma in 1996 as a Respiratory Therapist from the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences. Steve is eager to bring his strong background in the technology marketplace and keen interest in the STL cause as a member of the Board.
What has your computer done for you lately? My computer saves my life - scheduling, keeping things efficient, keeping me in contact with friends, family and colleagues. I would not be able to survive without it....
