1) How did you first learn about STL? I first learned about STL in the spring of 2004.  It had been over a year since I had last seen Lara Tavares and we ran into each other in my neighborhood a week before STL's first fundraising event.  We got caught up and Lara told me about STL and invited me to the event.  It sounded like a great cause and a good time so I happily accepted the invitation.

2) What first got you interested in STL? I was sold once I attended STL's first fundraiser.  It was amazing to be part of a cause that was so passionate about helping under-resourced youth and making an impact in their lives, their families and their communities. Also I loved that STL's mission included helping the environment by refurbishing computers.  I was eager to be a part of this mission and contacted Lara shortly afterwards about volunteering for STL.

3) What is your most memorable moment with STL? Participating in Youth in Motion's "Entrepreneurship Career Learning Day" with Lara and Rema. We acted as role models and facilitated interactive sessions with over 300

students from grades 7-10. We helped them to brainstorm about their career goals and it was definitely a memorable and rewarding experience.

4) What has your computer done for you lately? My computer is critical for my job working in the technology services industry. Technology is essential to our business and I'd be lost without it!

5) What is awesome about Run4Hope? It's a great cause, fun and energetic atmosphere and it's simply an awesome way to start your day!
