STL donor profile - James Dunne

Dear friend of Sky's the Limit,

STL relies on the kindness and generosity of our community and corporate donors who believe in our mandate. STL thanks James Dunne, a Wealth Advisor at ScotiaMcLeod, who is one of our valued supporters...

James Dunne1) How did you first learn about STL?
I met Lara through a colleague Pam Ng. Pam introduced me to Lara who showed me how STL is fulfilling its mission.

2) What interested you about STL?
I believe that all Canadians, regardless of their socioeconomic position, should have access to information and education. Providing computers to youth is a great way to provide an important access point to those in need.

3) What interested you in becoming a monthly donor?
It can become difficult to manage multiple regular donations to various charities, so being able to sign up for regular donations that are automatically deducted each month makes it easier for me to manage my contributions. From a planning perspective, I can also build my regular donations into my own financial plan, helping to create consistency and strategic focus.

4) What would you say to other potential monthly donors regarding your experience as a monthly donor?
Being a monthly donor is the easiest way for someone to support STL. It happens automatically and more of your donation dollar goes to support the mission of STL.

5) Additional comments:
To everyone associated with STL, keep up the good work!
