STL expands to the Montreal area!
On August 24th, STL donated 22 IBM laptop computers to grade 7 & 8 students in the Pathways to Education program in Verdun, Quebec. The expansion was made possible by generous funding from Kids Helping Kids, a foundation started in 2004 by Briana MacLeod when she was only nine years old. See photos of our Montreal recipients!

Sapphire Auction 2008Will Strickland kept the party going and the energy high, DJ Agile provided amazing music, and speeches by special guests Mike "Pinball" Clemons, Grace Han, Kevin Weekes, Rejean Marchildon, Judith Montreuil, Dave Robitaille and Terry Power were the highlight of the event festivities. FMCT and TD Trust "run4hope" raises $10,000!
Event 2008The Fletcher's Meadows Cross Trainers (FMCT) "run4hope" was held on Sunday, April 26th in Brampton. With the Help of TD Canada Trust, $10,000 was raised for STL which will be used to purchase computers for youth in the Big Brothers and Sisters of Peel program. STL supporters ran and won several medals!

5th Kevin Weekes Celebrity Charity Golf Classic benefits STL!
Pinecrest Ottawa deliveryThis exclusive event was held from July 2nd - 6th on the picturesque island of Barbados. The event benefited STL and The Phoenix Academy of Barbados. Kevin and his wife Stephanie donated funds to purchase 50 computers for under-resourced youth. See photos from the event!

An amazing young woman named Briana MacLeod (Founder, Kids Helping Kids) contacted STL in late 2008 with a $7,000 donation and a dream to get computers to kids in Montreal. Her dream came true when she took part in our recent delivery of 22 laptops to youth in Verdun, QC. Briana founded her organization when she was only 9 years old! STL thanks Briana and her dedicated team for their support.
