Letter From The Chamber

Dear Chamber Members,

In December of 2008, I started what would be one of the best experiences in my life with some of the most incredible people I have ever known.  After not working for several years, the Chamber and its members took a chance and put me to work in the position of Special Events Coordinator and Office Manager. Since the first day I sat down behind my desk, I can truly say I have enjoyed every day that I have been with the Chamber.  Not only have I been able to meet and interact with people from all over the State, but visiting with the people from other countries that have passed through our door has been a true learning experience.  This place we call the Delta has become such an attraction and I would have to say that the Chamber deserves an enormous amount of credit for making our home "a different kind of Delta".

Now my life has taken a new turn, and at the end of the month I will be leaving Cleveland and making a new home for myself in Brandon.  Part of me is very excited about trying something new as I have always been a real homebody who was always a little afraid of "stepping out of the box". Then there is the greater part of me that will miss everyone I have known all my life, those I have had the opportunity to get to know much better, and those five wonderful co-workers of mine. We all are really a true "fit" with one always there for the other.  I will miss you guys and this wonderful town I have called home for 50 years.  There's not another like it...that I know for sure.
