Dear Conservancy Members and SS United States Supporters:
The SS United States Conservancy is pleased to announce that tonight's high-definition screening of SS United States: Lady in Waiting at the Nauticus Center in Norfolk, Virginia was a huge success! Presented on the big screen to a packed crowd, the response was overwhelmingly positive. Our friends at Nauticus made the event very special right down to the red carpet. For those of you in the Norfolk area this Memorial Day weekend, the film will be shown in their spectacular HD theater twice a day, and admission is included in the normal daily Nauticus ticket price. Meanwhile, the film continues to air throughout the country. In Los Angeles, Lady in Waiting may be seen on KCET this Saturday, May 24th, at 11:00PM. KOCE in Huntington Beach will follow with HD broadcasts on Monday, May 26 at 7:00PM and Tuesday, May 27, at 11:00PM.
