Dear Conservancy Members and SS United States Supporters:

Happy Spring!  We are thrilled to report that the new documentary film, SS United States: Lady in Waiting, is now being aired on public television stations nationwide! Exact schedules are still being finalized, but a preliminary list of planned air dates can be found at the bottom of this email.  Our presenting station, Chicago's WTTW, is working hard to expand our ever-growing list of public television affiliates carrying the film, and each day we are adding new markets. While many stations have not yet scheduled the film, that doesn't mean that they won't ultimately air it. The satellite feed of the standard definition version was Sunday, May 4, and some stations recorded the film for broadcast but have not yet scheduled it to air. The High Definition satellite feed is scheduled for May 25th, at which time many stations will be showing the film in the format in which it was intended to be viewed. To find out if your local PBS station has added the film in your area, please see PBS Schedules.
