SS UNITED STATES:
LADY IN WAITING
A Note About "Black Tie Optional"

Dear Friend and Supporter of the SS United States Conservancy,
With the May 2-4 annual gathering and world premiere of the new documentary film, "SS United States: Lady in Waiting," rapidly approaching, we wanted to send out a clarification about "black tie optional." After considering feedback from our supporters, we've decided to make the premiere events a bit more "freestyle," and would suggest "cocktail party" attire instead. We know many of you would like to attend the event without feeling underdressed, so rest assured that a range of styles will be represented. If you prefer, you may leave your tuxedos at home!
We encourage you to join us for a gala dinner after the film premiere. However post-dinner dancing will be open to all attendees. If you' are having dinner on your own after the premiere screening, you may join us for the party. A cash bar will be available for those who choose this option.
Please note, the REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR ALL EVENTS IS THIS FRIDAY, APRIL 25. We have an exciting line-up of weekend activites - for details, CLICK HERE. Please take a moment now to register for this once in a lifetime weekend aboard the RMS Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. Simply click here to sign up.
We sincerely hope to see you May 2 through 4!
