EtherCAT Interface
With the addition of a MC464 EtherCAT Interface, the MC464 can operate as an EtherCAT master capable of controlling up to 64 axes or I/O nodes.
The high precision device synchronization inherent in both the MC464 and EtherCAT allow high speed, accurate control of large numbers of axes in the most demanding applications.
The axis expansion modules feature many options for Drive Network interfaces, analogue servo, pulse/direction, absolute or incremental feedback and accurate hardware registration. |
Euro Breakout Board The Euro209 breakout board (P446) is now available as a stock item. This product is ideal if you are using the Euro209 in a low volume application or for prototyping. All the connections are made using familiar Trio formats so you can use the Euro209 like an 8 axis MC206X. The breakout board mounts to the back of the Euro209 and so you can still use daughter boards.
If you need to make your own custom interface to the Euo209 we are happy to provide you with the designs for the breakout boards. This will help you reduce development times by basing your design on an established, tested design. The full connections to the breakout board are detailed in this application note: |
