SPS Show at Nuremberg...
The SPS show in Nuremberg, Germany 24-26 November was the first European showing of Trio's new flagship MC464 Motion Coordinator, including a demonstration of 3 servo axes controlled via Ethernet. Also new for the show were the Euro209 Motion Coordinator and a new range of Digital I/O and Analogue I/O CANbus modules. Visitors were impressed by the capability of the MC464 / Ethernet drive package. The live Motion Perfect 2 connection allowed people to see how the servo drives can be interrogated and configuration information displayed without interrupting the motion demonstration. The future of Trio Motion Coordinators working with digital networked drives certainly has arrived!  Of course, the big talking point of the show was EtherCAT. Trio had a working MC464 demonstration on the EtherCAT Technology Group stand, underlining our commitment to this network technology. Not only has Trio developed the hardware and software to operate as an EtherCAT master, but we are committed to proving the EtherCAT operation with a large number of servo and stepper drives and trials are being undertaken with some of the major players in the EtherCAT world.

The New Motion Perfect 2... Motion Perfect Version 2.4.1.6 now available.
 After an extensive period of developing and testing a new version of Motion Perfect 2 is available for download. A host of minor improvements have been made and the following major changes will increase speed of development on Trio controllers.
New Oscilloscope...
Improved interface with increased ranges and parameters lists. X/Y display mode now available. Able to plot TABLE points to the oscilloscope to check CAM profiles.
New and Improved Digital interface wizards...
New Panasonic configuration tool, re written SERCOS configuration tool with additional drives supported, enhancements to SLM and CANopen configuration tools.
Support added for new program types...
Using the MC464, Motion Perfect 2 can now work with KW Multiprog Express to load IEC 61131-3 projects. Motion Perfect 2 can also add text files to the supported controllers.
New dialog for selecting communications links...
Enables the user to easily manage their communications settings.
TrioBASIC assist...
Keyword assist added to editor, speeds up programming with assistance on parameters and commands.
