New serial port modes for Motion Coordinator 
Over the last 12 months there have been many small improvements to the Motion Coordinator system software. For many years the Trio Motion Coordinator range has had support for Modbus, which is a popular serial protocol used by most HMI's and graphical terminals. As an enhancement we have added Modbus support for both 32 bit long words and full IEEE floating point numbers. Other important enhancements have been made to the serial interface, including TrioPC ActiveX support.

Trio introduces the ability to use industry standard Micro SD memory cards to store controller program and data files. Having such capability in a motion controller opens countless possibilities for mass data collection and recipe management storage. Further benefits include remote software upgrades or allowing controllers to be replaced whilst in service maintaining all settings, programs and data.
