>> MBA PREDICTS THE DEATH OF 26ERS?

We at Niner were flattered to hear that Richard Cunningham of Mountain Bike Action thinks so much about us! The latest copy of MBA has RC thinking about the future of mountain biking and agrees with us that 29ers really are the way to go. Pick up a copy and check out his Happy Trails column, then get out there and visit our dealers and get on one! Riding is believing. Just ask RC.

>>BIOGREEN BOTTLES, BETTER FOR EARTH

Niner now features water bottles from BioGreen! BioGreen bottles are as Earth friendly as it can get. Of course they are reusable but when you are done with them they are recyclable and biodegradable as well! When placed in a landfill or compost pile the bottles degrade and are actually helpful for the soil. We appreciate the care taken in creating these bottles both for their useful life and long after you are done with them. For more info check out their website at http://www.biogreenbottles.com/ Pick yours up at your local dealer or
through our website here.

>>TALL TREE CYCLES

The crew at Tall Tree in Canada have been big supporters of Niner and we appreciate it. They have done great things to spread the big wheel revolution into the Great White North.

Since its inception Tall Tree Cycles has done things a little differently.

Abandoning the traditional approach of other Ottawa bicycle stores, Tall Tree focused on service and on city, touring and, of course, big wheeled off-road bikes.

The owners, Will and Thom, caught the big-wheeled bug back in 2006.  After trying out a number of different brands they decided that Niner's would be the bikes for them.  The geometry seemed to work the best in the tight technical trails around Ottawa.

Canadians are often a bit behind when it comes to bicycle trends.  With the big wheel bikes it was no different. But slowly, with a small fleet of demo bikes to let riders feel the advantages for themselves, the number of converts started to grow.

In 2008 we put together our green machine race team - flying the green colours of the Tall Tree store atop Kermit Green Air9's.  The superior performance showed in the results.  Heads were starting to turn.

We are still the only store in Ottawa and one of very few in Canada to stock a great selection of 29er bikes, tires tubes, forks and so forth.  Slowly we are seeing a change taking place. Canadians are starting to trade in their "kiddy" wheels.

>>ERIK'S BIKE SHOP

The crew at Eriks Bike Shop in Minnesota is ready to help you find the perfect ride. Just look how much Charlie Denis, Assistant Manager at the St. Louis Park shop loves the bikes! They are a stocking dealer that is willing to help you with any questions and give great service to boot. We applaud Eriks for supporting the Minnesota State Championship Series (MNSCS) and the state IMBA chapter, Minnesota Off-Road Cyclists (MORC).

"The next development of mountain bikes has arrived and its your turn to ride big.

At Erik's Bike Shop in St. Louis Park, MN the Big Wheel phenomena has hit.
The models customers are most excited about are the S.I.R. 9 and Air 9 frames.

"Our customers appreciate the more retro style, simplicity and clean styling found on the Niners." Says Aaron Petzel, assistant manager for the Erik's Bike Shop in St. Louis Park. "They love the hardtails and single-speeds. With the terrain in MN, there is not a great deal of suspension required for a sweet ride."

This could be why the hardtails and single-speeds are leading the Big Wheel Phenomena at Erik's Bike Shop. Plus, they are simply a sweet ride...

If you are interested in learning more about Niner Bikes, stop by our St. Louis Park store."
