Our friends at Dark Horse Cycles hail from the great state of New York. This shop is serious about riding and helping you enjoy your ride. New Yorkers are not afraid to tell you what they think and we're not afraid to tell you they're a great shop.
"Dark Horse Cycles, founded by George "The Bike Guy" Zubalsky in 2002, embraced the Niner Revolution in 2006, and never looked back. My business partner Mike and I sold off our personal 26 inch wheel bikes, purchased Niners, and have preached the gospel since. Our race team - riding almost exclusively on Niners - seems to agree...bigger, is definitely better.
We were the first stocking Niner dealer in New York State, and we are trying to keep the secret of success all to ourselves. Selfish, we know, but we're not sure we want to share the fun!
We will continue to support Niner, for the simple reasons the bikes are awesome, customer service is superior and you can't possibly have any more fun outdoors. The only thing that would make it better is if all those Niner "Nuts" could find a pony keg of Dale's Pale Ale for after the ride. Who lives better than us?"
