NEW CHRISTIAN MOVIE "LAST OUNCE OF COURAGE" WILL INSPIRE YOU TO TAKE A STAND FOR YOUR FREEDOM!

By Adam McManus

I just saw a special screener copy of a new Christian movie called "Last Ounce of Courage" and was inspired afresh to be the salt of the earth that Christ calls us to be in Matthew 5:13.

For 13 years as the afternoon talk show host on AM 630, KSLR, I urged listeners to "take a stand" for Christ in the public marketplace of ideas.  This film shows, in a dramatic way, how Christians can make a difference if they simply take a stand.   I strongly recommend that you take your family and friends to see it on its opening night on Friday, September 14, 2012 at one of 1,200 screens nationwide!   You will be as inspired as I was.

It's been endorsed by Chuck Norris and Ted Baehr of MovieGuide.  And it's Dove Family Approved.

This independent film doesn't pull any punches in terms of its call to freedom and the need for Christians to speak up for our rights and our Savior before it's too late.  Specifically, it reveals how the politically correct liberals are trying to dissuade Christians at every turn -- objecting to the Bible in public schools, the display of nativity scenes on city property and even prohibiting public school children from singing Christmas songs.

I was reminded of David Limbaugh's book entitled Persecution: How Liberals Are Waging War Against Christianity

LAST OUNCE STAR HUNTER GOMEZ SEEKS TO INSPIRE

last ounce christianLast Ounce of Courage is a film about courage and faith that features a large cast of talented actors. The role of Christian Revere, the son of a fallen hero who inspires a town to stand up for its beliefs, is played by young actor and college student Hunter Gomez.

Gomez, 20, started his acting career at a young age in his home state of Arizona. Parts in school plays led to acting classes and appearances in local theater productions. Gomez was discovered because of a song he wrote called "Do You Remember," a tribute the victims of September 11, performed at a football game on the one-year anniversary of the attacks. A contract with a national agent followed, and Gomez was soon cast in the 2004 film National Treasure.

CHUCK NORRIS AWARDS HIS OFFICIAL "SEAL OF APPROVAL" TO "LAST OUNCE OF COURAGE" IN THEATERS SEPT. 14

last ounce chuck norrisChuck Norris' status as a quintessential straight talking, no-nonsense American movie hero is on full, widescreen display in the current box office hit, "Expendables II."

An outspoken champion for values of the common man and those who serve our country, Norris is also a New York Times bestselling author of three books and a successful syndicated columnist. In recent years he has increasingly been asked to lend his support to a wide-ranging list of products, services, and causes. In 2011, "The Chuck Norris Seal of Approval" program was established to serve as a guidepost to assist the public in recognizing products or services that Chuck Norris officially supports; that reflect his values and standard of excellence.

"Last Ounce of Courage" has been named the first theatrical motion picture to be awarded the use of the seal in promotion of this independent film, which opens on more than 1200 screens nationwide on Friday, September 14 following a national premiere on September 11 coinciding with the commemoration of Patriot Day.

A Veritas Entertainment film, "Last Ounce of Courage" follows the life of a father, son, and grandfather who each take a stand for truth and end up inspiring an entire town. The movie stars Marshall Teague ("Roadhouse") and Academy Award nominee Jennifer O'Neill ("Summer of '42") and was directed by Kevin McAfee ("End of the Spear").

"I neither star in, nor do I have an above-the-line credit on, or other affiliation with, 'Last Ounce of Courage, '" Norris said in making the announcement. "Yet allowing the use of my 'Official Seal of Approval' is the least I can do to support a project so consistent with my core values and life principles.

In addition to the film's basic reminder that our precious freedoms are not always free, Marshall Teague gives the performance of his career as a small-town mayor who is inspired by his grandson to take a stand when a public religious display honoring his fallen son in Iraq is targeted for removal. No one should miss the message of this motion picture or his moving performance."
