Greetings!
We're very proud to announce that The American Museum of Fly Fishing has named Casting for Recovery as the recipient of their 2010 Heritage Award.
The Museum, whose mission is to collect, interpret, and preserve the history of fly-fishing, established this award in 1997. The award is bestowed upon an individual or organization that, through fly-fishing, has made a difference in peoples' lives. Casting for Recovery is being recognized for our efforts in helping breast cancer survivors move forward to hope and healing through the power of our volunteers and inspired by the message of "human conservation" that Casting for Recovery's mission embraces.
The award and benefit dinner will take place on April 29, 2010 at the Yale Club in New York City. You can help celebrate this award and CFR's fourteen-year history through a special Voices program. I encourage you to review the details below.
Sincerely,
Lori Simon, Executive Director

The American Museum of Fly Fishing is planning a special Casting for Recovery supplement to be included with its Spring 2010 issue of The American Fly Fisher, their award-winning quarterly journal.
This supplement will include a section called Voices, which will contain messages of inspiration, thanks, and memories from all who have been part of the Casting for Recovery experience--a chance for you, and your loved ones, to express how CFR has been a part of your lives. Voices will also be displayed at the Heritage Award ceremony on April 29.
You can participate in the inspirational section by purchasing space for your message.Find out more about this unique opportunity by downloading the information and completing the form, or by calling the Museum directly at 802-362-3300. The deadline for submissions is February 1, 2010 so act now. Please forward this email along to all of your friends and family and encourage them to participate. The more Voices that are "heard" the better our chances are for inspiring and helping women move forward. |
