State Pre-K sites announced for 2012-2013 school year.

Parents need to complete an enrollment application by Friday, August 3, 2012 to participate in the state lottery.

There are spaces available for 144 children who live in Central Falls, Providence, West Warwick, Warwick and Woonsocket to participate in the state's free, high-quality pre-kindergarten program. Please forward this information to organizations that can help spread the word to families in these five communities who might not otherwise have the opportunity for high-quality pre-kindergarten for their four-year-old.

State Pre-K classrooms are located at the following program sites:
  • Central Falls School District (521 Dexter St., Central Falls)
  • Ready to Learn Providence (945 Westminster St., Providence)
  • Beautiful Beginnings Child Care (700 Elmwood Ave., Providence)
  • Mariposa Highlander Pre-K (550 Branch Ave., Providence)
  • Imagine Preschool (400 East Ave., Warwick)
  • Westbay Children's Center (22 Astral St., Warwick)
  • CHILD, Inc. (28 Payan St., West Warwick)
  • Woonsocket Head Start Child Development Association (204 Warwick St., Woonsocket)
Completed applications must be returned to the program site of choice on or before Friday, August 3, 2012.
