The Governor released his budget proposal for FY 2011. For details on proposed appropriations, read Governor's FY 2011 Budget at First Glance prepared by the Rhode Island House Fiscal Office.

Federal Budget
President Obama's FY 2011 budget proposal has also been released. Rhode Island KIDS COUNT released a new Issue Brief, Children's Behavioral Health: Psychiatric Hospitalizations and the Continuum of Care, that provides an in-depth analysis of the needs of the children admitted to psychiatric hospitals in Rhode Island and recommendations regarding how psychiatric hospitalizations fit into the larger continuum of behavioral health services for children.
