Special Issue: Early Childhood Update

Great Pre-Kindergarten Enrollment Opportunity!
Sites have been selected for the Rhode Island Department of Education's Pre-K Demonstration Project and we need your help to make sure families with 4-year-olds who live in Central Falls, Providence, Warwick or Woonsocket have an opportunity to register for these free, high-quality early education programs.

Children will be selected to participate in the Pre-K program through a lottery managed by the Rhode Island Department of Education, but families must register with RIDE or with a participating site by August 27th in order to be entered into the lottery!

Please make every effort to let families know about this opportunity. We know that high-quality early education makes a lasting difference for children. Download the Rhode Island Department of Education's flyers to post in Central Falls, Providence, Warwick or Woonsocket.

For more information on the Rhode Island Pre-K program read the recent Providence Journal article and watch the NBC10 story.
