New Home to Be in Cupertino Library

..

PlaneTree Is Moving
..
On Tuesday, October 4, our health information services will open in a pleasant, quiet room - the PlaneTree Center - within the Cupertino Library.

..

This move deepens our "Get Healthy @ the Library" partnership with Santa Clara County Library, which began in 2007. Our services will be situated in SCCL's busiest location, which averages 78,000 visitors a month. PlaneTree will have much greater visibility and reach many more people who need help with health information.

..

     We will continue to -
  • provide free help to all members of the public
  • operate as an independent nonprofit
  • rely on the tax-deductible support of patrons and foundations
Several members of our professional staff are making the move, including director Candace Ford. PlaneTree volunteers will be more important than ever in our busy new location.

..

You will find the new PlaneTree Center on the second-floor of Cupertino Library, near adult reference and behind the elevator. Access is easy from either 280 or 85; we'll be about 7 miles from our old Los Gatos location.

..

Our new schedule will be -

Tuesday 4-8 p.m.

Wednesday 10-2 p.m.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday 2-6 p.m.

..

Please forward this newsletter to all family members, friends, and colleagues who may want to know about PlaneTree's move. (Important: Do not use your email program to forward. Use the "Forward email" link at the end of this newsletter. The person to whom you send it will not be subscribed. )

..

We look forward to helping you, your family, and friends in this exciting new location. Remember that our services will continue to be free to everyone who needs our compassionate, one-on-one help in finding in-depth, personally relevant health and medical information.
