We will be sampling many new art material products in September so, keep a look out for some great "Dabble Day" events.
For those of you that have not tried "Dabble Dabble" yet I'll explain the concept. Every Monday, Jennifer or I will remove the wrapping from some of our product and let you - try before you buy.
So far we've tested; In June the new Artograph LED Projectors and Light Pads, the various Escoda brushes using oil, watercolor and acrylic paints and Marvelous Marianne's Savvy Soap and SkinSaver barrier cream.
In July we tried Koi Watercolors on Art Boards, pastels on various papers, Gamblin Oil Paints and Mediums. During August and September we will have more opportunities for you to try some of our great art products. Check here for the schedule.
Kudos All Around:
We recently transacted a charitable purchase from the "Art for Charity" display in the Gallery. A painting of Christ by Al Morrison listed at $25 sold for $100. The purchaser was delighted to draw a check to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Currently in the Cultural Courthouse Gallery. Support our local art leagues and visit the Martin County Arts "A Summer Place" display in the Courthouse Gallery until August 26.
