Greetings!
Happy New Year! A difficult year has come to an end. The promise of a New Year is upon us. It's a time of gratitude and celebration, reflection and renewal. So many people are resolved to make this year a good one, that it most certainly will be a good one. If I can help you draw up a psychic road map for your 2010, please let me know. I see psychic visioning as an intuitive and playful way of planning!
When I'm performing a psychic reading, in regards to any topic, I might offer you a short phrase, a word, or even one letter as an insight. Even the simplest of visions can offer confirmation or guidance. "Grapes," I once told a friend, who asked me about where she might buy a house. Though she was living in Hawaii at the time, a few months later, an opportunity to buy a place on Martha's Vineyard presented itself. Grapes grow in a vineyard... She ended up buying there.
Earlier this year, I read for a client who works for an international organization. She was waiting for word of a transfer, in a situation where she could have been placed anywhere in the world- Africa, the Middle East, Europe. Apparently, she had volunteered for this position, which promised to be rewarding. But she had a limited choice in the final outcome. "I see a place name beginning with K," I told her.
"Korea!" she said.
"It could be," I replied. "But I have another clue to offer you. I see the word 'epicenter' floating just above your head." It really was floating above her head! In psychic visioning, I enter a surreal dream-scape where reality is somewhat bent. If a word floats in space, a word floats in space! I must accept what I see there as having some symbolic value at least. The psychic mind can be strange, and piercing- even if irrational. I have learned not to ignore anything extraordinary.
"Epicenter," she repeated.
"Epicenter," I said again. We simply smiled and stared at one another for a moment, trying to figure out what to make of the insight. "It implies an earthquake zone," I added. "I think the area is prone to them."
"Or violence? War?" she asked.
"Perhaps. I do feel danger actually, though not directly to you. You'll be fine."
"That makes sense," she said, almost happily. I have a beautifully diverse clientele- people in a wide variety of circumstances, all trying to make the world a better place.
Recently, this client came back to see me for a follow-up session. After refreshing my memory as to my prior predictions, she said, "The word came down- Afghanistan. I thought you were wrong about the K word, then they told me I'd be going to Kabul." I smiled. "Some time after," she continued, "I heard President Obama giving a speech about the war on terrorism. He said, 'Afghanistan is the epicenter.' He actually used that word. I couldn't believe it."
This past autumn, a woman called me seeking help with the loss of friend. All she said was that he'd passed away some time ago, that she was having a hard time accepting the loss. I closed my eyes in search of a psychic insight; something that might help me help her. All I saw was water, flowing down a mountain. "I see water, flowing down a mountain," I said, feeling somewhat foolish as the words popped out of my mouth. How is this going to help? The image seemed innocuous enough, but also irrelevant.
What's a psychic to do? I see what I see. I can't ignore it. With a sigh, I returned to the image, to ask why it came to me.
God, this scene was peaceful! The trees, the rocks, the sloping land. I thought of the snow on the mountaintop, which melted into this river. And how gleefully this water seemed to run down the mountain. The water felt happy to be returning to the lakes, the gardens, and the underground reservoirs. I thought of how, invisibly, the water molecules rise through the air, until they form a cloud. The cloud then rains down upon the mountain. And in the natural cycle of things, the whole grand journey is repeated.
I shared these thoughts with my client. After some silence, she said, in a barely audible whisper, "He died on a mountain."
"What?" I asked. I couldn't believe I heard right.
"My friend died, hiking Mt. Fuji."

A year ago, I wrote the following prediction for 2009: "For many, this year will be about work and the workplace, where perseverance, humility and tolerance will be themes. You could be getting back to work, reviewing your methods, discovering a new purpose."

2010 promises positive change, but it won't come delivered on a silver patter. Accept dynamics you can't avoid, work with what you've got, take risks and keep going for your goals.
