If you're not in Manhattan, consider a phone session. There's a certain intimacy to being on the phone I find conducive to psychic readings. It's presence of mind, not physical presence that matters most in a reading.

One-hour record sessions are now recorded as mp3 files.

When making an appointment, leave me your phone number, time zone and preferred appointment times!

Pay with a regular credit card at the time of reading, or use the PayPal link below.

If you have Comcast, you can watch my psychic show on their Paranormal TV Network as Video On Demand. Five of twenty installments are now available for viewing on two programs. One is called Real Psychics. The other, Psychic Workshop.

Watch me do tarot readings, and clairvoyant readings for clients hidden behind a curtain. I also teach a series of simple psychic techniques you can try at home!

Springs, Bubbles and Curious Frogs:
Playing With
Psychic Coincidences

Greetings!

When we experience a coincidence we can't help but feel some spiritual force is at work, specially organizing events in such a way as to grab our attention. Coincidences are clever. Their improbable nature seems designed to peak our curiosity. Yet it's our curiosity that must, in part, help weave coincidences together.

We may never fully understand the intelligence behind them, but coincidences may just be the best evidence we have of a guiding spirit in our lives.

If coincidences do mean something, as we suspect, then perhaps some insights into their meaning could be found in the symbolism of their elements. And perhaps messages could also be gleaned from where coincidences occur. I suspect they happen in places where our dreams are being realized.

Over the last few years, coincidences seemed to play out for me all the time. But for most of the last few months, none came to me. Or I didn't notice any. About three weeks ago, I wondered where the coincidences had gone, and I'm convinced that it was this wondering that, in part, called them back to my awareness: I was paying attention again.

If it's been a while since you noticed a coincidence, you can call one to you. The first thing to do is to wonder if one will make an appearance.

Then, just ask your psychic mind (or imagination) for a symbol that might play out in your future reality. Anything will do. Just close your eyes, and (here's the hard part) accept the very first thing that pops to mind.

For me, it was frogs that popped to my mind. Leaping, croaking frogs.

I think this is where most people stop. It sounds ridiculous to think frogs would have any real meaning in my world, that they might signal some direction or lead me someplace special. Then again, I've learned not to second guess a harmless psychic vision.

In a kind of automatic writing exercise, I let frogs play in my imagination. I believe the Intelligence that arranges coincidences loves to play. So I wrote a page about frogs in my psychic journal. I've learned that psychic visions can arise out of this exercise. I don't write much, and I write quickly.

Leap Frog, Leap Frog plucking at the banjo, singing in the bog, singing me to sleep all night, all summer. Tad poles in a bowl, I watched you change, I watched you change. Terrarium, aquarium. A boy does wonder.  I took you back to the swamp, in the woods out back. Home, where you belong.

Writing about my psychic symbol, helps me see its characteristics, and how it might perform in action. I'd be looking for any frogs that appear in my future reality to (coincidentally) match these visions. Granted, I wrote some typical depictions- frogs as anyone would imagine seeing them- leaping, singing, in a terrarium. But this reinforces the meaning of the archetype for me. Already, I'm reminded that Frog is entertaining, a symbol of transformation, and sensitive to its environment. It's a dweller of two worlds- aquatic, and terrestrial.

Might this signal that I am undergoing my own metamorphosis? Am I taking a leap of some kind?

I do live in two worlds- one imaginary, one real. In the imaginary world I craft characters as an actor. And it's in that imaginary world that I see visions for people, as a psychic. A psychic must believe in his imagination!

Frog's first appearance came to me at The Museum of Natural History, just down the street from my apartment. A huge new banner announced the museum's new exhibit: 200 live frogs.

Little did I know, two synchronicities were about to play out for me, unrelated to the frog.

It was raining, which I thought auspicious, because in a symbol book, I'd read that in ancient cultures, frogs were thought to be totems of rain delivery. After entering the subway at 81st Street, my umbrella gave me a little trouble. I had to jiggle its spring mechanism a bit to get it to close. Once securely fastened, I thought for a moment of what a brilliant invention the spring is. I love that to open an umbrella, you just push a button, and sschhooook, poof! It's open!

I'm still amazed by simple things like this. It helps, when seeking to attract coincidences, to walk through life with a sense of amazement and appreciation.

My mind went to various applications for the brilliant little spring. Watches, pogo sticks, slinkies, mattresses. This is my mind on the subway; off into strange and silly places.

I dug my fingers into the bottom of my backpack, in search of lip balm or something. The train was coming to a stop. I touched something small and smooth that I couldn't identify, so I pulled it out. It was a spring from a pen that had cracked and come apart in my bag. At that very moment, I looked out the window. We were stopped at Spring Street!

At the next stop, I got off and walked to a loft apartment, the set of a short film I was performing in called Fingerplay. It can take an hour or more for the crew to set up lights and props before a scene is shot, so to kill time I picked up a copy of The New Yorker magazine and ensconced myself on the couch in the living room.

A set designer was sticking glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling over a bed on the other side of the room. Suddenly I was reminded of a psychic reading I'd recently performed for a film producer. He'd inquired about whether or not I saw success for a film he'd recently made. I remember saying, "I see it being given stars. It will do fairly well." Now here stars were in relation to this film. If we design to let them, I believe coincidences can serve as a kind of wink, confirming our dreams and psychic visions.

The New Yorker was from March. I began reading a story in it on The Gazillion Bubble Show, an improbable little hit playing off Broadway which apparently features this secret bubble formula. All of a sudden, little bubbles began slowly floating through the air in front of me, falling onto the page! Some of them came in clusters- two and three of them stuck together. I was stunned!

Looking up for the source, I found them to come from the kitchen where the film's caterer was doing dishes (we'd just had lunch). I have no idea what kind of dishwashing liquid she was using, but the suds it generated made their way all the way over to me, even though I was about fifteen feet away from the sink! A caricature of Sherlock Holmes was drawn above the article. Hmm... a mystery indeed.

There's an invisible thread that connects all things together. The psychic mind peers into that realm of imagination and somehow tugs at it.

A few days later, my boyfriend Ken, my friend Brent and I decided to go see our friend Alvin performing in Sam Shepard's True West. Once at the theatre, I took a program, sat down and started reading. The production company was called Curious Frog.

At my acting class, a day or two later, my teacher was talking to everyone about stage props, how we were welcome to bring in any we thought might round out our collection for use in staged scenes. He and a couple of long-time students digressed for a moment about some of the ridiculous props the studio has had over the years. "We lost the frogs," my teacher said. "Remember them? The leaping frogs? For a while we had a running joke that they had to be in every scene."

I decided to visit my folks in Rhode Island for a few days. Once there, my mother pointed into the back yard, and said, "Do you like our new garden ornament?" She was referring to a ceramic figure of two frogs perched on a log.

Later that night, we went to see the film UP. A preview played for an upcoming feature animation called, The Princess and the Frog. In the film UP itself, a frog humorously appeared as an alarm clock. Later, I laid in bed and listened to real frogs plucking away in the little swamp behind our house.

The frogs indeed did appear in my reality. Lots of them! And in all my favorite places, too! The places where I dream. The theatre. Film. My street. My childhood home. Now, as I look back at what I wrote in my psychic journal, I see those things really do describe the frogs that came to me.

Coincidences leave us feeling touched more than anything. They can't possibly have one specific meaning. A symbol in action means many things. What do the stars, the spring, and the bubbles mean? Happiness? Celebration? Hope?

These are the feelings they engender in me.

In the end, we are left to wonder about the meaning of coincidences, but they sure are fun to cultivate and follow!

Smiles,
