It's time to get our hands dirty again, this time to help the Family Shelter, a United Way of the Midlands Certified Partner Agency whose mission is to provide temporary emergency housing and supportive services to homeless families. Family Shelter is the only shelter in the Midlands area exclusively for families.
You can help in one of three ways:- Volunteer at Family Shelter on Friday, November 12 to paint.
2:00 - 5:00 p.m. We will be priming the wall to get it ready for the mural! Click here to register for Friday's project - Volunteer at Family Shelter on Saturday, November 13 to paint, do yard work and sort children's books. A light breakfast will be provided.

On Nov. 2, Richland County voters will have an opportunity to vote for an important ballot referendum that will greatly benefit our community for generations to come. The Special Sales and Use Tax will fix Richland County's transportation nightmare, which is negatively impacting our quality of life and costing our community millions of dollars in economic development every year. The penny referendum will create jobs, pave roadways, relieve traffic congestion, and keep our vital public transit system running. And nearly half of the revenue will come from folks who live outside the county. Say "yes" to the penny on Election Day. Click here to learn more
