YLS members lend a hand to the homeless
Mark Reynolds"Volunteering at the emergency Winter Shelter was a great opportunity to be a small part of something very necessary in our community. I got to hand out small sandwiches, snacks and coffee to the guests. All of them looked tired and hungry. It was a chance for me to help out with alleviating some of their fatigue and hunger."
~Mark Reynolds, First Citzens & YLS Steering Committee Member

kid"My experience at the Winter Shelter was amazing. It was humbling to meet the people that are surviving the homeless crisis that so many Columbians talk about or donate money to, but never see first hand. I will continue to take opportunities to volunteer in a "hands on" way, helping my neighbors through this moment in their lives."
~ Courtney McDuffie, YLS Steering Committee Member
