Please take a moment to read through our January newsletter and see what's happening:
- Membership Update: In 2007 YLS consisted of 300 members and raised a total of $345,192.90. In addition, the group met the requirements of the Knight Grant, which generated an additional $165,000. Results of the 2008 campaign are still in progress. From what has been processed, YLS members who participated in 2007 increased their giving by 36%!

Register for the YLS Wine Tasting at Solstice Kitchen and Wine Bar |

Cost is $10 and payment will be accepted at the door. Solstice will also be offering a four-course meal and half price bottles of wine for dinner following the wine tasting.

About 200 people joined United Way of the Midlands on November 14, 2008 at the University House for oysters, chili, wine, beer, a live band and fellowship with other young leaders in the Midlands.

Attendees also donated items at this event for the YLS volunteer project--Leaphart Place--and the supply drive was a great success. Read More.
