Random Ways you might can help
1. Lawn upkeep - we need 2-3 people to mow grass every other week in the Joppa Way subdivision where we just purchased 23 lots of land. If you have lawnmowers, great. If not, we can provide some.

2. Items we need - do you have them?
Do they actually work?
-riding lawn mower
-digital camera
-projector

3. Greek Fest Volunteers - we need 2 people at a time to "man" our informational booth. Answer questions and hand out info about Charleston Habitat to those attneding the event. After your shifts, you're free to go enjoy the festival for free!

4. Office Angels- are you good with computers? Enjoy organizing? Data Entry? Filing? We need your help in our administrative office in downtown Charleston.

5. Pass out flyers - whether going around a enighborhood to let the homeowners know about our new A Brush with Kindness program or passing out flyers to downtown businesses abour our ReStore. If you have the time, we'll provide the materials. This would be a huge help!!!

A Brush with Kindness
Our new "A Brush with Kindness" program is set to begin this summer in the Highland Terrace neighborhood of North Charleston.

This neighborhood revitalization project will take place next to Joppa Way, where Charleston Habitat recently purchased 23 lots for future home builds.

Join us for a Block Party in Joppa Way on Saturday, June 5th from 10am-1pm. Enjoy guest speakers from the city of North Charleston, fun and food for the whole family, meet the neighbors and families we are partnering with to revitilize this neighborhood and end the existing substandard housing.
