Keynote Presentation: The Peaceful Revolution: Grassroots, Empowerment Based, Sustainable Healthcare

Sunday 24th, 9:30 am

Conscious medicine means harnessing awareness to unleash a cascade of neurohormones to hydrate the garden of the human immune system. We need our gardens to be in full bloom all year round to meet the health challenges of this world and the world to come in our lifetime, and in the lifetimes of our children. Our job is not only to cultivate our own wellbeing or the wellbeing of an elite population but to spread tools for awakening resources and awareness throughout the world until we have changed the paradigm of an authority based healthcare system into one of empowering sustainability. This talk will inspire those in the healing arts to reach out to an ever expanding audience through compassion based education and communication that touches many more hearts and minds. We must extend our outreach if we are to meet the challenges facing us and particularly to become the stewards we are intended to be for the children of the future.

  Workshop: The TARA Approach for the Resolution of Shock and Trauma

Sunday 24th 2-5pm

We live in a world of over-stimulation. Our adult nervous systems and certainly the nervous systems of our children need help to find a new, evolved homeostasis. The TARA Approach integrates the best of Eastern and Western medicines to maximize human potential and meet this challenge. Using a map of the body based on the Extraordinary Meridians we awaken reservoirs of energy, some of which have been dormant since we were conceived. When we link this regeneration with the resolution of past traumas we become who we are meant to be. Learn the basics of this system and apply it to your life and your professional practice. The TARA Approach is a clinically tested integrative design. It harnesses the vitality that is our birthright to our highest intelligence to bring us completely into the present.

April 27-29, 2011 at the Sancta Sophia Seminary in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Certified TARA Approach Self Care Teacher

Certified as a Foundations and Advanced Practitioner

We are energetic beings! Our overdependence on rational thought and language has obscured our natural ability to sense the flow of energy. We can regain a full awareness of the energetic bridge which links the body and the mind. Take advantage of this opportunity to begin the journey of understanding our body's wisdom by intimately getting to know the very temple which contains our every truth. This is an invitation to befriend and know our bodies in the same manner we would listen to and know a beloved friend. It is an art of being still and listening to the sensations of self. Taking charge of our lives, is a way of saying we are worthwhile, an acknowledgement of our self-worth.

In this Self Care Class as a first step into the foundations of the TARA Approach, participants will learn to:
" Locate and vitalize twenty-six bioelectric sites along the meridian lines;
" Differentiate shock from trauma;
" Differentiate sympathetic activation from parasympathetic activation; and
" Treat yourself and others with energy medicine for a broad spectrum of needs.

Participants will receive a comprehensive text which includes:
" The locations, functions, and influences of each bioelectric point;
" short self care meridian releases;
" recommended daily routines;
" Jin Shin Tara First Aid; and
" The energetic releases on the hands and feet.

The class is open to all who are interested in:
" Sustaining and supporting their health and well being;
" Relieving painful physical symptoms;
" Increasing immune function;
" Releasing destructive thought patterns, habits and coping styles; and
" Supporting family members and friends.

To register, obtain information on driving directions, overnight facilities or meals for this class, e-mail registrar@sanctasophia.org or call 1-800-386-7161 or 918-456-1109.
