The Foundations Intensive includes learning how to read a map of the body based on the extraordinary meridians and how to assess and treat the areas of that map through touch to balance the nervous system. Students also have a thorough orientation to reading energy through pulse, assessing sympathetic and parasympathetic dominances, and repatterning early shock and trauma to reclaim individuated essence. Each day includes didactic and experiential learning, demonstration treatments and opportunities for students to treat one another in a lab setting. Dr. Mines' teaching style is highly personalized. She is committed to the advancement of each participant.

March 18-22: Foundations Intensive

March 24-25: SPECIAL NEW ADVANCED TRAINING:

~Participate in the FIRST course that shares completely NEW information transcribed from Dr. Mines' extensive studies with Mary Iino Burmeister. This completely new material enhances the student's comprehension of the sacred sites of the body and offers masterful new flows to resolve the most mysterious of dis-harmonies.

The closest airport is in Sacramento ~2.5 hours or San Francisco at 3 hours away. Sonora is in the Sierra Nevada Foothills and about an hour from Yosemite National Park. 

 

April 7: A Comprehensive Approach to the Treatment of PTSD :

 

 This one day program for healthcare professionals focuses on previously unaddressed component of the etiology and treatment of PTSD including intergenerational aspects. Mind-body treatment designs are provided. $55 (lunch included)

****A practicum will be scheduled after the intensive for those seeking certification and for whom the intensive is at least their second iteration of this training. If you are attending the practicum we must have confirmation in advance to assure you will receive your certificate. The fee for the practicum is $150. Call the Dom Project business office at 1-800-493-6117 to confirm you attendance, pre-pay your tuition (required) and indicate the exact spelling and the way you wish your name to appear on your certificate. The TARA Approach is taught in hospitals, universities, social service agencies, domestic violence shelters, at midwifery schools, and wherever there is a need and an organizational structure to support its delivery.
 The TARA Studio in Eldorado Springs, Colorado, has been home base since the program's inception in 1995. Small groups meet there for highly personalized mentorship and study with Dr. Mines. TARA Approach programs are currently ongoing in Colorado, Hawaii, Spain, Washington, Oklahoma, Oregon and Mexico, and rapidly spreading throughout the US and abroad.
