Emerging Leader Spotlight

DCI's Emerging Leaders Program is designed for students and new professionals with less than 10 years experience in downtown revitalization fields, including planning, economic development, public administration, architecture, urban design, retail interior design, business management, marketing, promotions, and more.  Frequently in the Jobs and RFP announcements a new emerging leader will be highlighted.

Robert Ferrin 

Robert has over seven years of experience in urban research and planning. A graduate of the University of North Carolina Charlotte, Robert earned his B.S. & M.A. in Geography with a focus on urban and transportation planning. His work experience includes over seven years in the non-profit and public sectors, focusing on urban and transportation planning, market research, and cartographic presentation. Professionally, Robert is pursuing a focus on local and regional issues centered on the disciplines of transportation planning and parking management, market research and analytics, and community building

The successful candidate will have a sense of humor and patience and the ability to see issues, propose solutions, and streamline processes within our organization.
