If you are a boutique owner, you are smack in the middle of the busiest time for your business, leaving time for hardly anything else. 

To succeed in this ever changing business you must think ahead. 
So I hope you will take 5 minutes this morning to jump start your self and your biz, think ahead just a bit, and make life easier for yourself in the coming months.

The February event has always been one of the best for sales.

It's the most fun you'll have at an event. 

We will have no more than 45 vendors to keep it easier to shop and only including some of the best KC has to offer in apparel and accessories!
Haute Market is now going to be just 2 times a year which means the ladies will have to wait a bit longer for the event but they will be even more excited once it's here!

There are a lot of songs about time (Cyndi Lauper, Green Day, Pink Floyd), yet no one seems to have enough of it.  But as business owners we have to find it somewhere to juggle the business and our personal lives.
Planning ahead is key.
 
This week: what is one thing you can do that will make your life easier this week?
This month?
For me it's writing more than one article or blog post at a time so that when things go crazy, I'm at least a day ahead.
Do that one thing this morning and get it over with.

Now think about 2011 just a bit (it's less than 60 days away). 
Quickly write out a list of the first 3 months and any major events or plans for those months. 
Next, what is your plan to promote in those three months? 

If you use Facebook for your business (which you should be) enroll in a tool like HootSuite or Tweet Deck that let's you schedule future posts.  Spend just 30 minutes a week scheduling future posts about events, sales, etc.  You will LOVE yourself for it later!
