Baby it's cold outside!
Happy new year! Let's make 2010 a great one.
I don't know about you but I'm happy to start fresh
and have 2009 behind me.
Many local
businesses closed down and the KC
metro lost some great boutiques. When other
businesses are down, keeping the Hauteness going
is a struggle too. We were lucky to survive
another stressful round of Sprint layoffs while some of
our friends job searched for 6 months. It's been a nail-
biter but we try to have fun.
I am thankful for your support and truly appreciate
being able to bring a little fun and fashion to you each
week. No, clothing and looks don't make the world go
round, but it's a nice distraction and does help the
economy in countless ways.
I realize you have many ways to spend your time.
I'm thankful you take a little of that time and spend it
with me reading the newsletter and the Haute Weekly
articles. I'll keep it light and hopefully never get more
serious than I just did! :)
Don't you want to just snuggle back under the
blankets and hibernate until spring? I could live with
that.
Instead we need to layer it up. Sweaters
and
dusters, scarves and hats. Even leg warmers are
back!
