Greetings Eternal Friends:

Rev. W. L. Cati, Ph.D., and White Horse Ministry, Inc., would like to welcome you to: "Fasting and Praying, 40 Days for the Muslims, During the Month of Ramadan!" This Year, Ramadan is August 1-30, 2011. This year we will begin fasting July 27, 2011 - September 5, 2011.

Day Nine of the Fast:

Thank you for all of your wonderful encouragements I have been receiving. I also wanted to remind you that I am getting ready to leave on a ministry trip to California and Israel. I am going by faith and your prayers and financial support is deeply appreciated. I will be in Israel from August 22 through September 18. If you have any connections in either place, please let me know. One more request, if you know or have a car I could use in California that would be wonderful. This would save the ministry a lot of money. If you email me I can give you where all I will be in California. I will be in California from August 8 through August 21. Deuteronomy 1:28-29 28 Where can we go? Our brothers have made us lose heart. They say, 'The people are stronger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky. We even saw the Anakites there.' "29 Then I said to you, "Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. 30 The LORD your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes,"

Focus: We must not be afraid of Islam, but at the same time be aware. The Bible teaches us to, "Fear, no one, but the Lord our God, for only He has the power to give and take life." When we show and know how mighty our God is, Islam will lose its power. Islam's major tactics are by trying to control anyone or anything through the power of fear and threats. When the Muslims see that our God is stronger and that He loves them unconditionally, they will come to Him. We must not allow that fear to overtake us.

Mosque: In 1899, Hassen Juma had settled in Ross, North Dakota with 160 acres of free land.

In 1929 Muslim farmers built one of America's first mosques in Ross, North Dakota. The homesteader Hassen Juma had settled his free 160 acres in 1899. By 1902, twenty families had followed his path from Birey, Syria. The U.S. objected to their naturalization until 1909 when it withdrew the ban and the Syrians began claiming citizenship. Many fought and died in the two world wars. A descendant of one of the community's founders bulldozed the farmhouse-mosque in 1978. The cemetery on its grounds remains, however, entered through a gate arched by a crescent and star. Buried there are community elders including veterans of America's foreign wars.

Fact about Islam: According to Islam only if you read, or pray in Arabic does Allah, the god of Islam, hear you. All Muslims try their utmost to learn Arabic. The first thing a new Muslim does upon embracing Islam is to learn a few verses from the noble Qur'an (in Arabic) in order to say the Prayers properly. If prayers are not prayed in Arabic according to Islam they do not count.

*{On no soul does Allah place a burden greater than it can bear.}* (Al-Baqarah 2:286)

Knowledge of Arabic can become a blessing, not a problem or a difficulty, for those who try to learn it for the sake of Allah.

Bible: "If any of you needs wisdom to know what you should do, you should ask God, and he will give it to you. God is generous to everyone and doesn't find fault with them. When you ask for something, don't have any doubts. A person who has doubts is like a wave that is blown by the wind and tossed by the sea. A person who has doubts shouldn't expect to receive anything from the Lord. A person who has doubts is thinking about two different things at the same time and can't make up his mind about anything." -James 1:5-8- The only language God does not understand is doubt.

Prayer: Pray the stronghold of fear that Islam uses will lose its power and effect. Pray that the walls of Islam will be brought down. Pray that the Muslims will see how mighty the one true God is. Pray that the Muslims will understand that the God of the Christians and Jews created all languages and the He even understands are groaning.
