Tourism Funding is in Jeopardy! As you have probably heard, the NH legislature is in the midst of a very tough and contentious budget process with all state spending being targeted for cuts. The House passed a budget that cuts almost $1.7 million over two years in funding for the Division of Travel and Tourism Development (DTTD) - these cuts will have a direct impact on your business with fewer visitors to the state. With that in mind I am asking you to take a moment today to contact all the legislators on the Senate Finance Committee and urge them to fully fund Travel & Tourism. The Finance Committee will be working on the Travel & Tourism budget on Monday April 25th and they need to hear from you before that work session! Read more..
