T-Bones & Cactus Jack's present the Lakes Region Association's 4th annual $10,000 Sweepstakes by the Lake Event - this year's theme - "Baseball" On Friday, April 1st, 2011 from 6:30-11:00pm the Lakes Region Tourism Association will be hitting a home run at the luxurious Church Landing at the Inns & Spa at Mill Falls in Meredith with a fun baseball theme, entertainment, a silent auction, a ton of food from the Common Man Family of Restaurants, exquisite desserts from the Restaurant Management Program at Lakes Region Community College, a dug-out full of prizes and the last raffle of the night will be for $10,000!
Only 225 tickets will be sold and you don't have to be there to win. Grab a friend and buy your ticket today. The Inns and Spa at Mill Falls have also graciously offered discounted rooms for the evening. Funds raised at this 4th annual sweepstakes event will allow the Lakes Region Tourism Association to enhance their marketing efforts to bring more visitors and their subsequent spending to the area's businesses. In addition, funds will also be used to increase the association's financial contribution for the Annual Mildred Beach Hospitality Scholarship that is awarded each fall at the Association's Annual Meeting to an area college student.
The Lakes Region Association represents over 440 businesses including lodging properties, campgrounds, restaurants, attractions, marinas, golf courses, real estate companies, retail and related shops, and many service entities.
Your participation and support of this and other association fundraising events is instrumental in assisting local businesses and the overall economy in the region through maintaining and boosting the sizable and indispensable amount of tourism promotion the association provides for its members on an in-state, out-of-state, national and international level.
