Send Them to Attend the 2010 LRA Familiarization (FAM) Tour
Wednesday, June 2nd & Thursday, June 3rd, 2010
This is a two-day educational tour of the beautiful Lakes Region for people directly involved in meeting the public and providing information to our visitors! The tour will inform you about the many attractions, historic sites, 273 lakes and ponds, beaches, accommodations, shopping and much more.
The complimentary tour includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight accommodations the first day and breakfast and lunch the second day. Gratuities and alcoholic beverages during meals are your responsibility. During the tour you will encounter many surprise snacks and adventurous activities. The deadline to register is May 7th!

VOLUNTEERS WANTED Become a Granite State Ambassador!
Lakes Region AssociationDo you love helping people? Do you love New Hampshire? Are you interested in helping travelers? Become an award winning "Granite State Ambassador". Training for the Lakes Region Association's visitor information centers in Tilton and Alton Bay is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, June 14th & 15th at the Common Man Inn & Spa, Plymouth NH. The Granite State Ambassadors (GSA) training program provides 14 hours of learning activities that reinforce the tools needed to meet and exceed the expectations of guests and residents to the state of New Hampshire. "GSA" training certifies you to volunteer at visitor centers and front line guest service desks around the state.

VisitNH.gov Business Search for Group Tour Planners
The New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development will redesign its Travel Trade pages in time for the new official website launch at the Governor's Conference this May. The Travel Trade section will be simplified to serve specifically group tour planners by improving the navigation, terminology, and planning tools provided. One of the tools featured in this section of the website is a database of only group-friendly New Hampshire lodging, attractions, and dining. If you represent a business that welcomes group tours of about 50 or more passengers at a time.. read more

State Welcome Center Distribution Application Deadline
If you would like to distribute your brochure(s) at the Welcome Information Centers (WIC) under the existing guidelines through June 1, 2011, please submit your application now. Expiring brochures that do not have a renewal application submitted by June 1st will be removed from the Welcome Information Centers unless prior arrangements have been made.
