features Common Man Family Restaurant, Lago of Meredith NH
 The Lakes
Region Association, in conjunction with the Lakes Region Community College
(LRCC) Hospitality Program and Lakes Region Public Access (LRPA)-TV, recently
filmed the latest installment to their popular cooking show at Lago Restaurant
in Meredith NH.
The
30-minute
show features Chef Allen Zick of the Common Man Family of Restaurants
preparing
the Lago signature dish - pan roasted scallops with a caper, lemon and
sage
cream sauce and a chicken based risotto. Assisting were LRCC students,
Chris
Young, Ben Cartier and Matthew O'Brien. The show airs regularly on
Wednesdays at 6:30pm; Thursdays at 2am and 2:30pm; Fridays at 11am and
10:30pm; Saturdays at 4:30pm; Mondays at 8:30am and Tuesdays at 7:30pm.
VOLUNTEERS WANTED Become a Granite State Ambassador!
 Do you love helping people? Do you love New Hampshire? Are you
interested in helping travelers? Become an award winning "Granite State
Ambassador". Training for the Lakes Region Association's visitor information centers in Tilton and Alton Bay is
scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, June 14th & 15th at the Common
Man Inn & Spa, Plymouth NH. The Granite State Ambassadors (GSA)
training program provides 14 hours of learning activities that
reinforce the tools needed to meet and exceed the expectations of
guests and residents to the state of New Hampshire. "GSA" training
certifies you to volunteer at visitor centers and front line guest
service desks around the state.

Business Outreach
Governor John Lynch announced the next regional business outreach
session will be held in Laconia on Friday, April 16th at 7:30 a.m. at
the Lakes Region Community College. The outreach sessions are designed
to directly connect New Hampshire businesses with state leaders and
state services. They will give businesses an opportunity to hear from
and question state department heads about programs and services

We're thanking our fans for 20 years of great racing
and support. We currently have Toyota and Camping World as our larger
display customers, and we're looking to add a few more. The display
area will be located outside the Admin building and we can provide the table
and chairs needed. We are hoping that Lakes Region Association members could man the table(s) that would be free of
charge and would display their brochures, business cards, etc. If they
have a banner to display we would be able to hang that as well for them. Set-up would be ideally be Friday night, but early Saturday
