Autumn Adventures in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire
This year, take in the spectacular fall color show in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire from a new perspective guaranteed to bring out the adventurous spirit in you.  As you take advantage of all that the Lakes Region has to offer this foliage season, round out your trip with lunch at a lakeside bistro, take in a theatrical production or concert, visit our many attractions, apple pick, visit the farmer's market, sign up for a crafting class, attend a lecture, browse a craft fair, spend the day at an agricultural fair and lots more. A few of our favorite more adventurous ways to view the fall colors:
 
ON AND BY THE WATER

· Scenic train ride along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee
· Cruise the lake on a 70-foot replica turn-of-the-century paddle boat; private cruise boat; ship with dining and entertainment or an antique boat.
· Explore the rivers and lakes by canoe, kayak or rowboat;

 
SOARING DOWN A ZIP-LINE

Zip line at speeds up to 50 miles per hour through gorges, across tree canopies, or over open slopes. Cross sky-bridges or try your hand at a challenge course. The lakes and mountains have at least 4 distinct locations to get your thrills.

 
FROM A MOUNTAINSIDE CAVE

From mountaintop caves with mineral collecting to glacial mountainside caves we provide the best views while catching you up on your natural history.
