We are happy to announce that the Lakes Region Association will be hosting a training session on how to stay in compliance with NH Labor Laws at the location below

Join us on Friday, May 29th at 1pm for our 5th Annual Hospitality Golf Tournament at Waukewan Golf Club for this fun event to support the Lakes Region Association and our two scholarships the Annual Mildred A. Beach Hospitality Scholarship and the Ron Meade "On the Track to Tourism" Scholarship. Sign up online. Golf includes 18 holes and a cart for each team, gift bags, boxed lunch, raffle and BBQ dinner.

Lakes Region Association's "On the Track to Tourism Scholarship to be awarded at the Governor's Conference.

To be awarded in early May at the State of New Hampshire's Governor's Conference, the "On the Track to Tourism" Annual Scholarship will reward an individual who has or will be graduating high school and has been accepted at an institution of higher learning in a hospitality/tourism program. This Scholarship, established to thank LRA past president Ron Meade for his dedication and commitment to the tourism industry in the State of New Hampshire. Ron spent many hours volunteering on various Boards and Committees in addition to the Lakes Region Association.Gifts and donations can be forwarded to The Lakes Region Association Scholarship Fund, PO Box 430, New Hampton, NH 03256 or contact Amy at 286-8008.

Lakes Region Planning Commission Request for Nominations
The natural environment plays an essential role in our quality of life. Each year the Lakes Region Planning Commission would like to recognize someone who has made na extraordinary voluntary effort, over the years, to maintain and improve the environmental quality of the region.
