| at the MASTERS |
Nine Champions Tour players are competing at the Masters this week! Bernhard Langer and Craig Stadler are among those who will also be competing at this year's Principal Charity Classic so far.
Some Fun Facts:
- This year, Bernhard Langer celebrates the 25th anniversary of his first of two Masters victories in 1985. Langer is the last man to win the Masters and the PGA TOUR event following.
- When Fuzzy Zoeller won the 1979 Masters on the second extra hole of a playoff, he became just the third player to triumph in his first attempt and now, over 30 years later, is still the last man to do so.
- Jeff Sluman is the only player in Masters history to ace the par-3 4th hole. Sluman's ace came during the 1992 event with a 4-iron from 213 yards.
- Nick Price shot an Augusta National course record 9-under par in the third round of the 1986 Masters.
A current list of Principal Charity Classic player commitments can be found here.
Congratulations Collin!!
Collin was our 2009 Midlands Choice Masters Sweepstakes winner!! He and his son are headed down to Augusta for the final round on Sunday! Have a great trip!!
