The Principal  Charity Classic

 
Greetings!
 
The countdown is on! Only 55 days left until the Pros tee off at the 2009 Principal Charity Classic. Please continue reading for your current Volunteer News.
 
SPECIAL OFFER!
 
We are extending a $40 volunteer package that includes:

This special offer is ONLY good for the following committees:

Shuttles:
Operate van shuttles around the perimeter of the course picking up and dropping off volunteers.
Volunteer Check-In: Check-In volunteers and disperse meal vouchers. Help answer general volunteer questions.
Office: General office operation duties and staffing of the Tournament Office prior to and during Tournament Week. Before  the tournament as needed.
Communications: Assist with distribution of radios to staff and volunteers. Monitor communications between all committees and the golf tournament. Early morning shifts.
Disabled Services: Operate a shuttle cart for handicapped persons; Picking them up from the main clubhouse driveway and shuttling them to the front of the clubhouse.

Volunteer Updates
 
Committee Assignments
You should have recieved your Committee Assignments by now.  If you have not received your assignment please contact Michael at 515-279-4653 or nedved@principalcharityclassic.com.
 
Work Schedules
Your Committee Chair/s will be working on your tournament work schedule. Volunteers are asked to work 3-5 shifts over the course of tournament week. Please keep in mind that not all committees work everyday. If you are unable to meet the shift requirements on your assigned committee please let your Committee Chair know and they will help get you reassigned. Also, your availability on the Championship days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) are greatly needed and appreciated!
 
Uniform Distribution
Volunteer Uniform Distribution will be held May 8-12th. Please be checking your e-mail for more details in the coming weeks.
