Greetings!
Thank you for volunteering for the 2008 Principal Charity Classic presented by Wells Fargo!
The inaugural 2007 event was a major success. It showed in our charity donation which totaled $575,000! The goal this year is to give even more to charity and we're thankful to have your support to get us there.
If you are a returning volunteer, thank you for your continued dedication. If this is your first go around, welcome to the team! It's sure to be a great week of Championship play. |
| Volunteers NEEDED! |
We are still in need of volunteers for the following committees:
Shuttles: Operate van shuttles around the perimeter of the course picking up and dropping off volunteers.
Marshals/Spotters: Responsible for gallery control on each hole and major traffic areas on-course. Marshals not working with a specific group or hole will be placed on a non spectator hole as a spotter for the pros/amateurs.
Uniforms: Assist with Uniform Distribution before the event and extra uniform sales during event.

Volunteer Updates |
Volunteer Committee assignments have been sent via email. Your committee chair will be in contact with you soon regarding your schedule if they have not done so already.

Work Schedules
As stated above, your Committee Chair/s will be working on your tournament work schedule. Volunteers are asked to work 3-5 shifts over the course of tournament week. Please keep in mind that not all committees work everyday. If you are unable to meet the shift requirements on your assigned committee please let your Committee Chair know and they will help get you reassigned. Also, your availability on the Championship days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) are greatly needed and appreciated!
NEW - Volunteer Check-In
Each volunteer will be required to check-in at volunteer parking prior to going on-site. After checking in you will be given your meal voucher that is redeemable ONLY at Volunteer Headquarters (they will not be accepted at concession stands). Specific instructions on your committee's procedures regarding meals will be communicated to you closer to the event.
Uniform Distribution Your volunteer uniform and package will be available to pick-up at Uniform Distribution in early May. Location, dates and times to be determined. |
