Go Green This Spring!

Get ready for the next design challenge with the April issue of Circuit Cellar. This month we feature an article by Clemens Valens. Clemens walks you through the RL78 microcontroller, an MCU family for low-power applications. He takes a close look at Renesas's expanding RL78 family to see what they have to offer to help you create a low-power design. Be sure to mark your calendars, the RL78 Green Energy Challenge begins March 26th!

Also, in the April issue you can read about two Camosun College graduates who designed an inexpensive do-it-yourself personal audio amplifier along with Part 2 of Charles Edmondson's Rainbow Color Reader article series. To read these articles and more, and to download your digital issue, visit

If your application relies on Texas Instruments MSP430 - and you're looking for an easy way to "go wireless" - you should get to know Anaren Integrate Radio (AIR) modules. AIR features TI's proven low-power RF chips, the industry's smallest footprints, time- and money-saving pre-certification to applicable standards, and a choice of frequencies (including 400/868/915 MHz and 2.4GHz).
