DenUM

TAC recently signed a contract with DenUM (Denver Urban Ministries) in Denver to install a 10kW solar electric PV system and engineering is underway. This PV installation will save DenUM more than $60,000!  

 

DenUM's programs serve financially disadvantaged families by giving them support when they are in crisis, helping them stay in school, keep their jobs, and feed their families with limited resources.  More about DenUM

Maple Terrace

The solar thermal installation at Maple Terrace, an affordable housing complex in Loveland, is up and running! The installation will produce up to 2,320 gallons of hot water on a sunny day, generating $5,000 savings per year. Photos below show the recently completed plumbing.   Read More

FortZED Community Energy Challenge Update


The FortZED Challenge is a community outreach effort to help residents decrease their energy use and support the creation of a net-zero energy district in downtown Fort Collins. Join us and be a part of pursuing a triple bottom line that is good for your wallet, good for your community, and good for the environment.  Read More

Recent FortZED Challenge Achievements:
  • TAC was awarded the Governor's Energy Office's Recharge and Innovation grant for $50,000 which will support increased outreach to CSU, including events on CSU campus this semester, and will also enable the challenge to include participants from the greater Fort Collins area.

  • Over 400 Pack Members have taken the pledge - spread the word and encourage your friends and neighbors to take the pledge and help 
    take it to zero!
  • Over 30 trained FortZED Rangers are moblizing! You too can get involved and become a Ranger
