Good afternoon,
Senator Cornyn received the attached press release from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and wanted to pass along this opportunity for small businesses in your area. Small, non-farm businesses may apply for low-interest Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) through the SBA to offset economic losses resulting from adverse weather conditions. AM Networking is a function of the Galveston Chamber of Commerce, and it occurs almost every Thursday morning. This weekly event is a great opportunity to meet new clients and share your products and services with the community. It is free for both members and non-members. So invite your friends and bring your business cards! Each attendee will have approximately 30 seconds to tell the group about what they do. Newcomers are always welcome, and first timers receive 1 minute and 30 seconds to tell the group about their business. UTMB Health will be welcoming thier alumni on the island for the 2011 Homecoming March 31 - April 2, 2011 at Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa & Convention Center. They are expecting approximately 400 people.
