Pat
PAT LENCUCHA
EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST

Pat is a veteran of the music business. This incredibly accomplished guitarist spent 10 years as a professional touring musician.  Within the retail industry he hung his hat for 10 years at Axe Music (Sales and Ordering) and 5  years at Mother's Music. That was followed by  2 years with Genesis Communications (Sales / Service Manager) at which point we drafted him to handle sales, ordering and product development.  When he's not processing gear shipments, he helps out with maintenance and upgrading of AXE Production's gear. Of course, we just like to sit back and listen to him play the myriad of guitars that come and go through our shop.

LIVE EVENT TIP
TIP:  Load ins and load outs for an event are a science. It starts with packing the trucks.  AXE Productions has a staging area in the production warehouse where we  execute a pre-pack configuration.  Then, we load the trucks.  We're like a moving company.  It's hard work and here's where event producers can be of great help.  Whenever possible, recruit volunteers to help for the 'in' and the 'out' at the site.  It's a great opportunity to involve able and willing people who want to learn more about live events.  We appreciate how the Beaumont Blues Festival team supplies us with keen volunteers to help.  It makes things move faster and reduces the work load.  Also, involving volunteers helps reduce labor costs.

What a year it has been so far!  In addition to being the official production supplier to the Enjoy Centre, Capital Ex, and the Edmonton Events Centre, the AXE Productions project slate was filled with the major festivals, corporate events and fundraisers in the region from Big Valley Jamboree and the Mayor's Address to the Edmonton Rock Festival and the Glenrose Gala to name a few. Check the portfolio section of our website to catch up on our activity. VISIT THE AXE PORTFOLIO

Our studio is also humming with the production of web based shows and videos, as well as radio campaigns. Featured below is green screen studio production for "Inside Real Estate" with real estate expert Terry Paranych (for Paranych TV). SEE A FULL EPISODE HERE

Not only did we handle production duties at the conference, we also saw the daughters of our Vice President, Kelly Kimo, take the stage. The group, Holle, is gaining momentum on radio charts. They performed at the Edmonton Expo Centre (above).

FESTIVALS & CONCERTS

The festivals are getting bigger and the production demand escalated substantially.  Hence, AXE Productions got tapped for all of the stages at Capital Ex as well as several festivals including the Edmonton Rock Fest at Hawreluk Park.  Between those two, not counting other festivals, AXE got up close and personal with the likes of: Streetheart, April Wine, Trooper, Prism, Blue Oyster Cult, Barney Bentall, Sam Roberts, Matthew Good, Simple Plan, Sebastian Bach ... it's a loooooong list.
